EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival 2014 Adds Two New Events

Let’s start with the premium package details. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Premium Package is now available for guests that are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort which includes those staying at the Swan and Dolphin. It will include an in-room gift with wine (for those who are 21 and older); a festival wine glass; truffles; and a special EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival MagicBand along with a $50 Disney Gift Card. The credential gives access to 10 VIP “Premium Package Areas” that are located around the World Showcase Promenade. At these locations, you can order items from Marketplaces and have them delivered to you with absolutely no waiting in line. You can also bring your favorite marketplace treats into the Premium Package Areas. The package also includes one admission to “Epcot Food & Wine Festival – Late Nights LIVE!” street party (more info below), which you can attend on Tuesday or Thursday night. The cost is $199 per guest, plus tax, plus EPCOT admission. The event is from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday from September 22 through November 6.

“Epcot Food & Wine Festival – Late Nights LIVE!” street party will run from 9:45 p.m. to 1 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday for the duration of the festival. It’s located between the United Kingdom Pavilion and World Showcase Plaza and includes six tastes (food and beverages) from select marketplaces, live music, entertainment, and a DJ. The cost is $79, plus tax. The party is subject to capacity and advance reservations are recommended; to book a spot, call 407-939-3378. It’s worth noting that admission to EPCOT is not required after 9 p.m. for guests who have purchased credentials to the event. However, if the guest wants to visit EPCOT before 9 p.m., valid theme park admission is required.
