There were rumors about this for some time, and it looks like they were indeed true — the Magic Kingdom’s “Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!” Street Party that takes place daily in the park, is getting a makeover. The first change comes in the form of a new name: “Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It!” Street Party. The new version will have a few different classic characters such as Minnie, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy to go along with some newer characters like Stitch and Phineas and Ferb. The stilt walkers and dancers will each continue to have big roles. Our favorite new feature is the new remixed party songs that will be played, but more importantly, guests will get to decide the final song for the “Play It” portion of the new name if you will. The new street party will debut in Fall 2014.
