Disney hosted their first-ever Disney Cruise Line meet-up on Thursday (April 9, 2015), and it was held at the BoardWalk area inside Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Guests attending were given a special sneak peek at all of the exciting new entertainment that is planned for Disney Cruise Line, along with yummy treats, photo ops with the “Frozen” characters and more.

Prior to the event, news was out about three new experiences (see all the details below) that will take place onboard their ships. The meet-up folks had a chance to hear from three show directors about the “Frozen”-inspired experiences, “Star Wars” Day at Sea and “Tangled: The Musical.”

Disney Cruise Line tweeted out this pic revealing this was the first time anyone had seen the photo:

Details on all of the very cool new entertainment below.

“Frozen” Fun:

*Beginning this summer exclusively for Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruisers in Alaska and Northern Europe, a special day during your trip will have you feeling like you were transported into the Kingdom of Arendelle, as overnight the ship is transformed into a winter wonderland.

*As you wake up, you’ll discover a magical freeze has overtaken the atrium lobby with sparkling icicles adorning the grand staircase resembling the majestic mountain-top ice palace of Queen Elsa.

*Receive warm hugs from Olaf.

*Kids will have fun with “Anna’s Chocolate Chase,” a scavenger hunt for those who share Anna’s sense of adventure with a special surprise for finishing the game.

*Kids can join the “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” activity where they’ll take on Elsa’s magical powers to make snow and ice!

*For families, there’s “Oaken’s Maypole Swirl and Twirl” where you’ll learn a traditional Scandinavian dance spinning and braiding giant ribbons, along with a specially themed dining experience that night including a menu inspired by traditional Nordic fare and special dishes inspired by the film.

*Ending the fun-filled day, an evening celebration called “Freezing the Night Away with Anna, Elsa and Friends.” During this high-energy deck party, you’ll sing and dance with the famous royal sisters of Arendelle and more. After some fun line dancing led by Anna and Kristoff, their beloved companions, Sven, the trolls and Olaf, make virtual appearances. Sven engages the crowd in reindeer games like “Sven Says” and the “Troll Stroll,” and Olaf leads a sing along to his signature song, “In Summer.”

“Star Wars” Day at Sea:

*A brand-new, day-long celebration coming to the Disney Fantasy in early 2016 during eight special sailings.

*Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers and other characters from across the Star Wars galaxy will be onboard for scheduled meet and greets, as well as roaming on deck and elsewhere around the ship. You’re also encouraged to dress up in your own stellar costumes!

*A shipboard version of the popular Jedi Training Academy experience invites young Jedi hopefuls – known as “Padawans” – to learn lightsaber moves from a Jedi Master. They can then use the Force and face off in a final test against the evil Darth Vader.

*Kids and families enjoy friendly competition during “Star Wars” trivia games, covering fun facts from the film and television sagas.

*For Younglings, “Star Wars”-themed arts and crafts, games and activities will be offered throughout the day in Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab youth clubs.

*During evening hours, adults entering the night club will feel like they stepped into the Mos Eisley cantina scene. Characters and cantina music set the mood as Star Wars-themed specialty cocktails are served.

*You can watch the first six “Star Wars” films and follow Darth Vader, Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke and Leia along their epic journey.

*Also showing will be episodes of the new Disney XD animated series, “Star Wars Rebels.”

*Celebrities and insiders from the “Star Wars” galaxy will share their experiences, meet fans and sign autographs.

*There’s intergalactic fun when the “Star Wars” deck party blasts off to an exciting evening filled with music, dancing and games.

*Character from the movies converge on the deck stage for a celebration of the “Star Wars” saga in a show featuring special effects and guest participation.

*The deck party culminates in an awesome display of themed pyrotechnics, lighting, sound effects, lasers and “Star Wars” music.
