Pirates Of The Caribbean Opened Back Up At Magic Kingdom With New Enhancements September 26, 2015


Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom was closed for maintenance and just reopened today (September 26, 2015).

Disney Parks Blog posted the details on the famous attraction at Walt Disney World Resort not only having the restoration work done, but also getting some new additions. Some enhanced special effects were added, including new cannons with water-based smoke and strobes for weather effects. They upgraded the Audio Animatronic figures. DPB revealed that each character was rebuilt and that they have with new costumes that seem even more realistic and authentic, including Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa. The interior had some paint-work done and guests will now notice that there are some areas where your nose will notice some new scents.
