On July 20, 2017, Nintendo kicked off Comic-Con International 2017 at the TV Insider Lounge, and treated a slew of celebrities including Adam ScottAbigail SpencerDominic CooperMatt Lanter amongst others, to the ultimate Nintendo Switch gaming experience. Each had hands-on time with two yet-to-be-released titles—Super Mario Odyssey and Pokkén Tournament DX. Guests also had the opportunity to play Mario Kart 8 DeluxeARMS and 1-2-Switch.

The cast of “Teen Wolf” (Tyler Posey, Shelley Hennig, Khylin Rhambo, Cody Christian, Charlie Carver and Dylan Sprayberry) went head-to-head on the racetrack—with Tyler capturing first place after picking up and wearing a Nintendo Switch hat and ARMS sleeve.

Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies from “Colony,” raced each other as well, while Dan Stevens from “Legion,” looked on. He later got the chance to battle his own castmates, Bill Irwin and Jeremie Harris.

The cast of “Shadowhunters” (Katherine McNamaraHarry Shum Jr. and Isaiah Mustafa) made it a true family affair, by including Mustafa’s daughter, Haley, in on the action, while Mike Daniels (Defensive End for the Green Bay Packers) and his brother, Sean, dressed as Naruto characters, aptly took to Pokkén Tournament DX.

John Cho and Brianna Hildrebrand (“The Exorcist”) scared each other with their gaming skills and Kyle Harris, Ritesh Rajan and Damon Dayoub (“Stitchers”) had each other in stitches.

With another day of Comic-Con come and gone, Nintendo again treated many celebrity fans to first looks at two yet-to-be-released titles—Super Mario Odyssey and Pokkén Tournament DX, as well as Mario Kart 8 DeluxeARMS and 1-2-Switch for Nintendo Switch.

Today’s attendees included: Krysten Ritter “Jessica Jones”; Matthew Lillard with the Cast of “Dark Matter”; Spencer GrammerJustin Roiland and Sarah Chalke of “Rick and Morty”; Alex Hogh Andersen and Gustaf Skarsgardalong with their fellow “Vikings”; Jason Lewis, Yul Vazquez, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Dylan Bruce and the cast of “Midnight, Texas”; Tara ReidCassie Scerbo and the cast of “Sharknado 5”; Dulé Hill and James Roday of “Psych”; Robert BuckleyAly MichalkaRahul Kohli and more from “iZombie”; the cast of “The 100” and many others, with the complete list below.

Krysten Ritter cozied on up on the coach with the Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as Matthew Lillard attempted to pry the television off of the wall, stealing Mario away from the rest of his “Twin Peaks” castmates.

Things got a bit heated between Alex Hogh Andersen and Gustaf Skarsgard as they faced-off in battle on, with Alex literally jumping on top of Gustaf when he claimed victory.

Tara Reid cheered on Cassie Scerbo as she completed her laps around the race tracks.

Afraid of nothing, including dolls named Annabelle, Lulu Wilson and Talitha Bateman looked Bowser right in the eye and took him down.

And to commemorate her gaming experience with Nintendo Switch, Aly Michalka asked that she have her photo taken, and then pulled out a disposable camera, while co-stars Robert Buckley and Rahul Kohli starred on in disbelief—of the camera and her karting skills.

Jensen AcklesJared Padalecki and Misha Collins of “Supernatural” stopped by the TV Insider Lounge for some hands-on time with Nintendo Switch, and set the stage for another full and exciting day, of gameplay with Nintendo on Saturday, July 22, with the kids of “Stranger Things,” the cast of “Riverdale,” Seth Rogen and Josh Hutcherson of “Future Man,”  Elijah Wood and the cast of “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency,” Jamie Chungand “The Gifted” as well as the casts of “Once Upon A Time,” “Legends of Tomorrow,” “Supergirl,” “The Originals,” “The Flash,” “The Orville,” “Lucifer,” “Gotham, “The Magicians,” “Black Lighting” and “Danger & Eggs.

Seth Rogen and Josh Hutcherson squared off against one another in the recently released ARMS, a game that lets you reach your limits and fight like never before, by using extendable arms. After a nail-biting match, Josh defeated Seth and threw his arms up in victory.

Elijah Wood beelined for the yet-to-be-released Super Mario Odyssey, as did Melissa Benoist. Her castmates, Jeremy Jordan and Chris Wood were however drawn to the race tracks of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Cole Sprouse, Casey Cott and Ashleigh Murray of “Riverdale,” also battled it out in the karts, while KJ Apa was the sneakiest of the bunch and ended up walking away with a Nintendo Switch hat, reserved for the winner.
