The internet went wild back in February 2015 when Disney announced that they were creating a new DuckTales animated series. This new show would find a home on Disney XD, and it would be arriving in 2017. As the premiere got closer, the voice characters were revealed, as was the awesome new theme song. Oh, and DuckTales received a second season before the first one had even aired! Wow! Disney knew they had a hit on their hands.

Now, fast forward to August 12, 2017, with the first ever episode of DuckTales called “Woo-oo.” This episode was a one-hour television movie that was presented for 24 consecutive hours on Disney XD. Did you tune in to see it? This is the episode that you will find on this DVD that is set to release on December 19th. It is arriving just in time for holiday gift giving. We do recommend it! The lovable characters bring so much happiness to our hearts, and I am sure they will to you and your family. Plus, not only do you receive this episode, but also six bonus shorts. Those are always a big plus for us!

In “Woo-oo,” the high-flying fun begins when Donald Duck is a little reluctant to take his mischief-making nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie to McDuck Manor, which is the stately home of their rich, reclusive, great-uncle Scrooge McDuck. The nephews are enthralled by the exploits of their once-legendary great-uncle. Their fearless new friend Webby unwittingly unleashes secret totems from Scrooge’s epic past. This launched the entire family on a daring, deep-sea quest for the Lost City of Atlantis. There is action and mystery solving and so much humor! We loved it!
