Disneyland Explosion Causes Evacuation of Toontown

According to various local news outlets and the Los Angeles Times, a small explosion occurred today at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, which prompted the evacuation of a portion of the theme park. The minor blast was in the Mickey’s Toontown section of the theme park and was caused by a plastic bottle that had been filled with dry ice. The dry ice bottle had ruptured inside a trash can; the Anaheim Police Department told the Los Angeles Times, and thankfully, no injuries were reported.

According to ABC 10 News, Mickey’s Toontown was evacuated as a precaution with fire crews and the Orange County bomb squad responded to the scene.
