Exclusive: Jack Griffo Talked With Us About Working On The “Jessie” Episode “Somebunny’s In Trouble”

We had the pleasure of interviewing Jack Griffo. Jack will be seen in the “Jessie” episode “Somebunny’s in Trouble” that premieres on Disney Channel this Friday (June 21, 2013).

Take a peek:

Dis411: Tell us a little bit about yourself. How did you get started into acting?

Jack: Aside from acting, I like playing guitar and I love sports. I also like watching my favorite TV shows, going to see movies, and hanging out with my family playing cards and games. I have a risky streak but no time for it lately! I would love to bungee jump or anything else dangerous-ish.
I grew up in Florida doing community theater and moved to Los Angeles two and a half years ago to pursue this crazy dream of becoming an actor.

Dis411: What do you like most about acting?

Jack: I like getting to be someone I’m not! I hope to someday play a lot of very different kinds of roles, really push myself.

Dis411: Can you tell us about your role for the new “Jessie” episode “Somebunny’s in Trouble.”

Jack: I play Brett Somers, the school jock, who loves football. He meets Emma in the park and becomes her love interest in the episode.

Dis411: What was it like working with the Peyton List and the rest of the “Jessie” cast?

Jack: It was awesome. Peyton and the gang were fun to hang with and super nice to me! At the end of the week I didn’t want to leave!

Dis411: Any fun stories that you can share with our readers about working on this new episode?

Jack: The football tackling of Peyton List was pretty epic. I got to tackle her repeatedly while we were rehearsing and when we were shooting and enjoyed it very much. It’s a tough job but somebody’s got to do it…

Dis411: You have worked on both Nickelodeon shows and Disney series’. Which project and role has been your favorite so far?

Jack: Well, “The Thundermans” is my favorite of all since I will get to go back every week!!

Dis411: We have read that you are starring in a Nickelodeon comedy called “The Thundermans.” Could you share information with our readers about this role.

Jack: It’s still developing since we are just getting started, but I play ‘Max Thunderman’, an aspiring super villain with awesome powers and a secret lair.

Dis411: What kinds of things do you enjoy doing in your time away from acting?

Jack: Free time became very important when I suddenly had very little! When I can I like playing basketball, snowboarding, music and hanging out with my friends.

Dis411: Lastly, can you share your social media information with us – Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Thanks again to Jack for chatting with us, and we wish him the best!
