Selena Gomez Reaches #1 At Top 40 Radio With “Come & Get It”

July 1, 2013 – (Burbank, CA) — Multi-platinum Hollywood Records’ recording artist Selena Gomez has landed the #1 spot at mainstream Top 40 radio today with her hit song “Come & Get It.” This is the first #1 Top 40 radio single for Gomez. “Come & Get It” is also # 1 this week on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Chart, marking her 5th # 1 Dance record.

“Come & Get It” is from Selena’s upcoming fourth studio album, Stars Dance, which is set for release July 23. Already platinum in the US and Canada, “Come & Get It” was written by Ester Dean, M.S. Eriksen and T.E. Hermansen and produced by Stargate for 45th & 3rd Music. The music video was directed by Anthony Mandler and already has over 67 million online views. Selena is set to perform her # 1 song this Thursday on Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC.

Fans can stream Stars Dance exclusively on iTunes a week prior to its official release. The stream will be available to a global audience beginning July 16th. The stream will be live on iTunes until the album is available on July 23.

Selena will have a flurry of high profile events the week of July 21, kicking off with an exclusive Ryan Seacrest interview on E! followed by performances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America Summer Concert and Live with Kelly & Michael. She will also be performing on the iHeartRadio Live Coca-Cola Summer Concert Series. Three weeks later Selena will kick off her world tour on August 14 in Vancouver, BC.
