Disney Casts Britt Robinson And Reveals “Tomorrowland” Plot
Actress Britt Robertson (Under the Dome, Delivery Man) has been cast in a lead role in Disney’s “Tomorrowland”, a film originally named “1952”. Robertson joins a cast that already includes George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson. Robertson can be seen in Disney’s “Delivery Man,” starring Vince Vaughn and Chris Pratt, in November and is currently a star on the CBS science fiction horror seriee “Under the Dome.”
“Tomorrowland will be in theaters December 12, 2014, is being directed by Brad Bird, produced by Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, and written by Damon Lindelof, Brad Bird and Jeff Jenson.
The studio also revealed a major plot-line for “Tomorrowland”:
In the film, a high school girl with an unconventional understanding of technology is launched on a journey to reclaim her future.
