Disney’s Polynesian Resort Transitions to New Name


As you already be aware, Disney’s Polynesian Resort is now transitioning to a new name – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Technically, it’s transitioning back to its original 1971 name as part of what Walt Disney World is calling a “complete re-imagining.” The resort is undergoing a large transformation with a new main lobby and feature pool areas along with the transition into a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) hotel with the new lagoon villas and changing of some of the original longhouse accommodations into DVC rooms.
