“Frozen” Attraction Coming to Epcot and More “Frozen” Announcements for Magic Kingdom

There have been rumors swirling for months about the possibility of an attraction related to “Frozen” at Epcot. Today, after months of gaining momentum, the rumors were announced as true as Disney has officially announced that “Frozen” will indeed be coming to the Norway Pavilion. The attraction will replace Maelstrom, although I’m sure it will be mostly same attraction with a few changes similarly to the way that the Mexico Pavilion attraction was updated to the “Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.” Maelstrom will make it’s final voyage on October 5, 2014, to make way for the new “Frozen” attraction although an opening date has not yet been given.

Disney has made another announcement regarding Elsa. She will be taking part in the nightly lighting of the lice lights on Cinderella’s Castle, and many of the “Frozen” characters including Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf will be joining “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” this year.
