BEA MILLER HITS ROAD WITH DEMI LOVATO

MILLER ALSO JOINING BLEACHERS AND PITBULL FOR T.J. MARTELL FAMILY DAY EVENT
SEPTEMBER 28 AT NEW YORK’S HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM
Hollywood Records/SYCO Music recording artist Bea Miller will join platinum-selling labelmate Demi Lovato for a string of North American dates on Demi’s World Tour starting on October 14 at Chicago’s United Center and ending on October 24 at Giant Center in Hershey, PA.
The fiery Miller, who first met Demi while a contestant on the second season of X-Factor said, “I just never thought that I’d be touring with someone who I look up to so much as an artist.”
Prior to the Demi World Tour, the New Jersey born/Los Angeles-based Miller will share the stage with Bleachers and Pitbull at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom for the 15th annual T.J. Martell Foundation Family Day on September 28th. The Family Day event raises money and awareness for cancer and AIDS research.
Bea is touring in support of her recently released debut EP, Young Blood, full of soaring choruses and sharp-edged pop/rock songs revealing a moody intensity and her rebellious rock-and-roll spirit. The four-track EP finds Bea joining forces with producers Busbee (P!nk, Kelly Clarkson), Jarrad Rogers (Icona Pop, Demi Lovato), and Mike Del Rio (Kylie Minogue). Young Blood hit #2 on the iTunes Pop Chart and #16 on the overall iTunes album chart.
Bea co-wrote two of the tracks: the title track, an all-out anthem and perfect embodiment of her rebel-hearted spirit. With her voice starting out hushed and haunting, the heavy-hitting “Young Blood” ultimately shows the true force of Bea’s vocals by unfolding into a full-throated ode to misfit kids everywhere. And on Young Blood’s closest thing to a starry-eyed love song—“Dracula,” another number she co-wrote—Bea keeps it raw by snaking darkly playful lyrics through the track’s throbbing beats and fuzzed-out groove. The EP rounds out with “Enemy Fire“ (a handclap-heavy stomper that’s all gritty guitar and woozy harmonies), as well as on “Fire N Gold” (a dreamy, gut-punching slow-burner propelled by Bea’s soaring and soulful vocal work).
Earlier this summer, Bea released the video to the first single and title track, “Young Blood.” Shot in the dark alleys of Los Angeles by renowned video director Mark Pellington (Demi Lovato, Foo Fighters), the video captures the boldness and untamed spirit of teenage emotion with intense imagery. Bea’s full-length album is due in early 2015.
