Sarah Carpenter revealed her new darker hair color via her Instagram on Sunday (February 1, 2015).
Miss Sarah said that she wanted to try to differentiate herself with her sister Sabrina Carpenter, as people sometimes get them mixed up.
The singer/actress also gave credit to Laurie Heaps for her new look:
Went darker so people will stop confusing me with my sister. Everyone follow @laurieheapshair because she is a magician with hair.
We think she looks beautiful!!
I did notice that her dad (David Carpenter) posted a comment to her about her now looking like her other sister Shannon Carpenter:

Sarah replied with a pouting face emoji.
