The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival (read more about this festival here) is underway, and I was able to stop by the other day to enjoy the great displays. Mind you, I didn’t have time to take it all in, but plan on going back next week for more.
The day was a bit rainy, but it didn’t dampen my mood while strolling through to see what was new and what topiaries had made their way back to the festival. I was happy to see Anna and Elsa from Disney’s “Frozen” in their spot at the entrance to World Showcase and I found that entering the park to Goofy, Daisy, Pluto, Donald and more was a warm welcome.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are standing proud in their garden as you make your way toward the World Showcase area while in Future World.
The kids will enjoy Mike & Sulley’s Monsterous Playground on one of the walkways in Future World. It was a really busy spot.
I found the different ways to plant a garden in the Urban Farm Eats area across from the playground to be very interesting. Be sure to check that out.
As it grew dark, I took some photos of the characters all lit up, which was nice, but I have to admit, I am looking forward to seeing them in the light of day.
Let us know if you get a chance to visit the festival and what you have enjoyed most in the comment section below.
Here are more of the photos that I took. I will add more next week when I get a chance to see everything.
