“Jessie” Spin-Off Has A Title & New Cast Members Announced April 24, 2015

The straight-to-series order from Disney Channel for its spin-off of their hit live-action comedy series “Jessie” has a title!

In word from Deadline, the name of this show that stars Peyton List (Emma), Karan Brar (Ravi) and Skai Jackson (Zuri) will be called “BUNK’D” – pretty similar to what we posted about yesterday – and will begin production later in April, with the premiere set for summer 2015.

There have also been a few cast additions to the show. Miranda May (guest starred on “Liv and Maddie”), Nina Lu and Kevin Quinn (“Further Adventures in Babysitting”) will join the 3 “Jessie” stars.

“BUNK’D” centers around Emma, Ravi, and Zuri Ross leaving their glitzy New York penthouse and heading off to a rustic summer camp in Maine, where their parents happened to have met as teenagers. Along with their new friends, Emma, Ravi and Zuri try their best to adapt to their new “home away from home” and settle into their exciting new lives at Camp Kikiwaka.

“Jessie” creator Pamela Eells O’Connell serves as creator and executive producer. The series is a production of It’s A Laugh Productions.

Bunk’d might be similar to Camp Rock. This might be a performing arts camp. Who knows. It won’t start in 2016. Emma would be seventeen when she starts.
