Review: “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Pet Salon” DVD

We really enjoyed the opportunity to review a new DVD called Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Pet Salon. It is a DVD that contains 5 episodes from the television show Mickey Mouse Clubhouse that runs on Disney Jr. The show regularly features classic Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto. Minnie’s Pet Salon DVD contains over 120 minutes of air time and includes the following individual television shows: Minnie’s Pet Salon, Daisy’s Pet Project, Pluto’s Puppy-Sitting Adventure, Donald’s Ducks, and Pluto Lends A Paw; each of these episodes are based around the theme of pets.

Many times when we review a DVD, we get asked about the Bonus Features or other items that are included with it. As this is a DVD that is geared directly towards younger children, one of the cool things that is included with it is a pet comb. If you have pets, I’m sure your kids will enjoy the opportunity to try it out on them. If not, it’s a nice keepsake. For Bonus Features, there are a couple of Sneak Peeks for a few other Disney DVD’s.

This is an excellent DVD for anyone that enjoys Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. In each episode, there are some excellent problem solving skills that are learned so your kids can have a little bit of education while they are being entertained. We also like the fact that the DVD includes some basic information about what it’s like to have a pet. Overall, it would make a great addition to fans of the Classic Disney Characters on the show which really appealed to us.
