Top 5 Attractions At Magic Kingdom With Short Wait Times

So many great attractions to take a spin on at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort, and we have found that there are some that you can get on easily without using the FastPass+ program. There have been many times we have just decided on spur-of-the-moment to hop over to the park and have fun on a few rides. We can always count on these 5 to be of little to no wait times – of course I am not talking about during the busiest times for the park like Christmas, New Year’s Eve, etc.

We have listed our top 5 in the order of the least amount of waiting to greater.

1. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover:

We just simply call it the PeopleMover. It’s so great to just take a spin on this ride and rest your legs. It is something that we find ourselves doing every single time we visit Magic Kingdom. Do you enjoy this too?

2. Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress:

Right next to the PeopleMover in Tomorrowland is Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. This attraction is great for the whole family. Entertaining and it gets you out of the sun for a little bit while you enjoy it. The only wait you will probably have for this attraction is the time it takes for the previous ride to finish.

3. Mickey’s PhilharMagic:

This is my one of my favorite 3D shows in all of Walt Disney World! Is is yours? Love the music and scenes from some of my favorite Disney movies. And, the wait is usually short and the queue is inside.

4. Walt Disney World Railroad:

The train ride at this park is a must-do. You can hop on and off in a couple of locations – Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland and Fantasyland. It is another great time to rest your legs and to get you to your destination quickly.

5. “it’s a small world”:

Okay, I know that this attraction is not for everybody, but I really like it! The song does get stuck in your head and to me that is a good thing. Over the past year I have noticed that this ride has had longer wait times than usual – that is why I put it at number 5. But it is not too long, and is another great way to sit and relax and have some fun.

Hope this was helpful. Would love to hear your thoughts too. 🙂
