Top 5 Rides For Small Children At Magic Kingdom Summer 2015

With so many rides to choose from for children – and kids of all ages enjoy them too – at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort, we have compiled a list of our top 5 must do rides at this theme park. These are all easy-going attractions that even the smallest members of your family will have fun on.

These are in no particular order.

1. Peter Pan’s Flight:

Your smooth sailing pirate ship will help you soar over London on your way to Never Land. Be sure to check it out in Fantasyland, and you will probably want to use the FastPass+ system for this one.

2. Walt Disney World Railroad:

Who doesn’t love a train ride?! You can board and disembark in three locations of the park – Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland and Fantasyland. Awesome!

3. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh:

Riding along in a Hunny Pot while exploring the Hundred Acre Wood is pure JOY! Do you love this one too?

4. Dumbo the Flying Elephant:

You gotta love it that Disney created a second carousel after they moved the original to its new location in Fantasyland for the little ones, and they have a great way for you to wait for the attraction without being in a line. If you are not using the FastPass+ service, you can grab a pager that holds your place in line, and then you and your family can enter the big top tent. Your kids will be entertained by the playground inside that includes slides, climbing net and a toddler section while getting out of the heat. Neat!

When your pager goes off, you can hop on the ride and have some fun as your Dumbo vehicle allows you to go up and down in the air.

5. Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid:

“The Little Mermaid” is one of the greatest Disney animated movies, in my opinion! So, when this attraction opened up in Fantasyland in December 2012, I was thrilled. I love singing along to the wonderful songs of the film and seeing the scenes from the movie come to life, while moving slowly in a clam shell. Everyone will have fun on this ride.

Wow! It was hard picking my top 5 for this article! 🙂 Hope that you have fun the next time you visit Magic Kingdom!
