One sunny afternoon at the end of July, my family and I headed over to walk around Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. We love this resort inside Walt Disney World Resort with its mountain/cabin feel. One of my favorite places to be is in the mountains, and I always feel at home in this resort.
We had a chance to eat lunch at the counter service restaurant called Roaring Fork. I hadn’t remembered it being such a small space, and we found it very busy. Very quaint, but I feel a little too small for the resort.
Not a lot of food selection, and we decided to try the Grilled Northwest Chicken Sandwich. It was a good, simple sandwich that included the grilled chicken, cheddar cheese and a slice of country ham, with the sauce being the same as the turkey sandwich that we love from The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (see our review here). We chose the house-made chips which reminded us of the ones we had eaten at Landscape of Flavors inside Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. They are very yummy!
Not sure that I would go to the resort specifically to eat at this restaurant, but we had a wonderful time.
The price for this meal was $10.19.
