According to Disney Parks Blog, “Holidays at Disney Springs” will include a lot of familiar favorites. The big change will be that Disney Springs will have its new name (transitioning right now from Downtown Disney to Disney Springs).
Toy Solider stilt walkers, Snowflake performers, a Kwanza Celebration, Hanukkah medleys, enhanced holiday entertainment, specialty foods and festive decor will be arriving around mid-November.
In a new location across from Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop, Santa will be back to greet all of the young ones. And, such a nice feature about this meet is that, just like last year, guests will be able to grab a pager upon check-in to secure their place in a virtual queue line.
There will be some new additions for everyone to enjoy. Holiday backdrops that will be arriving at the Marketplace and West Side that are made to look like pop-up greeting cards, and it will be nice opportunity for family pictures. Plus, there will be 3 new unique holiday trees will make their debut.
Entertainment Show Director Tom Vazzana had this to say about the decorations:
Every corner of Disney Springs has new decorations that will fill your spirit, and your camera, with holiday memories.
We sure can’t wait to have some fun during the holiday season at Disney Springs inside Walt Disney World Resort!
