On October 15, 2015, Disney Interactive launched a new 3-match style puzzle game for your mobile device called Disney Dream Treats. This new game takes players on a sweet tooth’s dream, going around the world to many Disney Parks and Resorts’ restaurants and also getting to interact with some of everyone’s favorite iconic Disney Characters.

In the app, players will help Mickey, Minnie, Ariel, Belle, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and more favorite characters welcome guests to their favorite Disney eateries and serve up all treats your heart can desire. There are over 100 puzzle levels for everyone to enjoy. You’ll probably want to be playing something along the lines “Be Our Guest” as that sets the tone pretty well.

Easily recognizable Disney treats in the game include Disneyland churros, frosted Mickey cookies and more. As most puzzle games, I usually say they remind me of Bejeweled but in this case, is not the best example. It takes a much more Candy Crush Saga approach, at least thats what it feels like, which I have no complaints of, as we all know how popular that game was/is. You need to match up treats to fill up the guest’s requests, you wouldn’t want them to not get their snacks now would you? My by FAR favorite part in this app was that you can add in photos of your family and friends into the game and being able to dress them up in Disney hats and clothing. It was awesome to be able to do that, and I would say, you have to check that out for sure.

If you seem to be having trouble or just wanting to get through a level ASAP, you can use a magical character combo booster and a couple power-ups like Belle’s “Rose” or Mickey’s “Fireworks,” which is very helpful. Trust me, you’ll be wanting to use them. Playing through the game, I absolutely love the diversity of the dining experiences throughout the Disney Parks and Resorts across the entire globe. There are so many of them that I can remember seeing for myself in-person, but others that I never have have seen or really would be able to. It’s great just for that experience of it, to see what it’s like, and lets be real now, I just wanted to see some treats. After playing for a little while, I actually had to go and get some churros, I couldn’t help myself. The gameplay and replay value of it alone is great, I love the design of the app, the layouts are very well done, of course I would suggest this, especially as it is free, ANYONE can get it and enjoy it as much as I did. Hope you have fun with it!

You can find Disney Dream Treats for download in the Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows App Store and Amazon Appstore.
