Photos & Videos: Walt Disney World Resort Decorated For The 2015 Holidays

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas…at Walt Disney World Resort! Yay! My favorite time of the year! 🙂

We have had the opportunity to take a peek at some of the parks and resorts all decked out for the holidays. I will be adding photos to this post as we get more.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

We were thrilled to see The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 4, 2015, a few days before it officially opened on November 6th. Still can’t believe that this is the last year for this! We will miss it so much!!!

Magic Kingdom:

It wasn’t long after Halloween that Magic Kingdom had us in the Christmas spirit with holiday music playing and the Christmas tree up on Main Street, USA! We LOVE this park on a regular day, but it is so special seeing it with wreaths, garlands, ornaments and more ready for the holidays!! We took some pictures and enjoyed walking around on November 5th.

We went back to Hollywood Studios to look around at more of the decorations on November 14th. So great!

Disney’s BoardWalk Resort:

This resort looked beautiful on November 19th! A new gingerbread house was seen in the lobby, and guests can purchase yummy goodies like cookies, gingerbread shingles, cupcakes and more at Ginger’s Bread and Cookie Shoppe. It smelled so good too!!! Really cute little shop. I took photos in the lobby, at the store nearby and outside of the resort. Click here to see pics and video taken in 2013.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort:

After checking out BoardWalk Resort, we took a nice walk over to Yacht Club to find their little train scene and trees decorated in the nautical theme. So pretty!! Did you notice the “Frozen” characters? See pics and video taken in 2013 here.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort:

Getting our fill of this resort, we strolled over to Beach Club where one of my favorite things to see during the holidays, the gingerbread carousel, was still being worked on. That was fun to watch as the finishing touches were taking place. The smell of gingerbread and chocolate was in the air! We will stop back here another day to see the final project.

Also on Thursday, November 19, with rain lingering and the humidity high, we headed to Epcot to see as much as we could of the decorations at the park before the rain hit! We literally got into our vehicle afterwards and drove off when the rain came down! Good timing! We were not able to see the whole park, but got as many photos as we could. Can’t wait to see more next time!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort:

On Tuesday, November 24, it was time to head to the monorail resorts to check out their decorations. Our first stop was Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort where we ate lunch and browsed around.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa:

Hopped on the monorail after that and went towards Disney’s Grand Floridian & Spa. Another one of my favorite places to visit during the holiday season. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! Love this Victorian themed resort, and it is just magnificent with its tall Christmas tree and the awesome gingerbread house! I spy the “Inside Out” window! 🙂

Disney’s Contemporary Resort:

Last stop for the afternoon was Disney’s Contemporary Resort where we took a peek at the cute “Frozen” gingerbread display. Guests can purchase some yummy treats here as well.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom:

It was a little bit of a cooler, overcast day on Monday, November 30, 2015, but we were really happy about heading over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to see what this park looked like with all of their holiday decorations up, and always enjoy seeing the big Christmas tree as you enter the theme park.

We walked around, snapped some photos, rode on Kilimanjaro Safaris and grabbed some chicken fried rice for lunch at Yak & Yeti counter service. Fun time!!!
