Premiere Date Announced For “BUNK’D” Season 2

Variety revealed on Thursday (June 30, 2016) that season 2 of the hit Disney Channel series BUNK’D will premiere in August! Get ready to tune in on Tuesday, August 23 to watch this show, and brand new episode will premiere each night at 8 p.m. through Friday, August 26. Cool! After that, the series will return to its normal timeslot on September 16.

Pamela Eells O’Connell (Creator and Executive Producer) said about this new season:

In Season 2, our ‘BUNK’D’ characters will have even bigger adventures and even more fun. They will meet some great new campers, face new challenges, and continue to grow and experience life lessons, while strengthening and forming new lasting friendships.

Returning to BUNK’D are stars Peyton List, Karan Brar, Skai Jackson, Miranda May, Kevin Quinn, Nina Lu and Nathan Arenas. This new season will introduce the newest Camp Kikiwaka member, Griff, played by Lincoln Melcher (Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day). The new season will feature the return of many fan-favorite guest stars and will feature a new set.

Disney Channel’s family comedy “BUNK’D,” follows siblings Emma, Ravi, and Zuri Ross as they leave their extravagant New York City penthouse once again to return to Camp Kikiwaka, a rustic summer camp in Maine where their parents met as teenagers.

Season Two Premiere Date: August 23, 2016

Season two finds Emma excited to reunite with her best friend at camp, Ravi continuing to be the family’s voice of reason and Zuri charming campers alike with her clever and spirited wit.

Emma and Ravi resume their role as CIT’s (Counselor In Training) bringing with them the experiences from their first summer at camp. Together with Zuri, her best friend and bunk-mate Tiffany, the cheerful head counselor Lou, the camp heartthrob Xander, and the hilariously imaginative Jorge, the campers embark on new and exciting adventures during their stay at Camp Kikiwaka. The friends welcome an unexpected camper with a dubious past named Griff, Xander gets to showcase his musical talents, familiar faces return for a visit and special friendships are formed and solidified, all the while overcoming unforeseen encounters that arise.

Starring are Peyton List (upcoming MarVista Entertainment, Original Pictures and Disney Channel movie “The Swap,” “The Outskirts,”) as Emma Ross, Karan Brar (Disney Channel Original Movie “Invisible Sister,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,”) as Ravi Ross, Skai Jackson (“The Watsons Go to Washington”) as Zuri Ross, Miranda May (“The Heartbreak Kid,” “Samantha Who?”) as Lou, Kevin Quinn (“Shameless,” “Chicago P.D.”) as Xander, Nina Lu as Tiffany and Nathan Arenas as Jorge.

The live-action comedy series was created by Pamela Eells O’Connell (“Jessie,” “Family Matters,” “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “The Suite Life on Deck”), who serves as executive producer. The series is from It’s a Laugh Productions, Inc. It carries a TV-G parental guideline.
