Travelers are getting a unique look at the making of the anticipated Margaritaville Resort Orlando, with a newly created infographic. These ‘Fin Facts’ reveal notable figures surrounding the one-of-a-kind $750 million vacation destination, which is currently under development in the heart of Orlando.
Seen above, the new infographic highlights the total number of hours to build the pools, hotel, residences, beach and restaurant space. Notable figures include:
2,200 beach chairs available to guests
1,000 steps from resort to retail space
60,000 square footage of beachfront
14 million gallons of water to fill the pools
3,425,625 total hours to build the following:
o 100,000 hours to build the pools
o 2 million hours to build the hotel
o 65,625 hours to build the residences
o 60,000 hours to build the beach
o 1.2 million hours to build the restaurant space
700,000 cubic yards of sand used to build the beach
1,300 palm trees on property
6,000 guests can be accommodated in the residences and hotel rooms at one time

Margaritaville Resort Orlando also today unveiled a new resort rendering, showcasing a panoramic view of the expansive property, which will feature a 187-room hotel, 1,000 Margaritaville-inspired vacation homes, 300 timeshare units, a water park, fitness trails, a dining and entertainment district, a
wellness center, a water taxi system and more.
“Our new infographic is a fun, visually appealing way to share the latest news on the development of Margaritaville Resort Orlando,” said James Bagley, project developer of Margaritaville Resort Orlando. “Masterfully designed, as you can see from our new rendering, Margaritaville Resort Orlando will be a truly unique and special place helping travelers from around the world escape to paradise.”
Margaritaville Resort Orlando is expected to break ground on the retail portion by the end of 2016 and on the hotel portion in early 2017.
