“IllumiNations: Reflections Of Earth” At Epcot Ending Summer 2019
News has come in, after much speculation, that Epcot’s nighttime spectacular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will be ending!!! Aww…that does make me a little sad! This show that includes music, fireworks, fire torches and more has been entertaining guests for almost 20 years now. The final showing is set for the end of summer in 2019. If you are like me, you will be making sure to check it out a little more now before it comes to an end!
In the details that Disney Parks Blog has shared, they are stating that the Disney Parks Live Entertainment team is currently busy creating new nighttime entertainment that is set to debut immediately following the conclusion of IllumiNations. This will continue the tradition of nightly entertainment on the World Showcase Lagoon.
Epcot, along with some of the other parks in Walt Disney World Resort, is undergoing transformation with previously announced experiences. There is the highly-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster attraction, a Ratatouille-inspired attraction, a new table-service restaurant near Mission: SPACE and more that are in the works.
I am looking forward to the changes, but will miss this show! Are you going to miss it?!
